Jose Santos Martinez

Jose Santos Martinez, 79, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2008. Mr. Martinez was born to parents Epifanio Inojosa and Erundina Martinez in Guantanamo, Cuba on April 16, 1929 and was of the Catholic faith. He worked as a dental technician in Cuba and as a shrimper in New Orleans. Mr. Martinez was an avid fisherman and loved to write poetry and sing. He was preceded by his parents and two brothers. Survivors include his wife, Ana J. Martinez; two sons, Alberto Martinez (Melinda Waters) and Armando Flores (Ericka Hernandez); five daughters; four brothers; five sisters; and five grandchildren.
