Pansy L. Rutten

Pansy L. Rutten, 89, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away August 12, 2013. She was born on December 11, 1923 in New River, FL to parents James and Pearl McKinney Thomas. Mrs. Rutten was a homemaker and enjoyed fishing, gardening and watching her hummingbirds. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Mrs. Rutten was preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Rutten and her brothers, Charles and Robert Thomas. She is survived by her sons, Arthur Rutten (Kathy) of Middleburg, FL, Chuck Rutten (Donna Owens) of Palatka, FL and Michael Joseph Rutten of Scratch Ankle, FL; sisters, Angeline Brannen of Lake Butler, FL. Alma Ruth Daniel of Lake Butler, FL, Alma Jean Reese of Johnson City, TN, Janette Putnal of Lake Butler, FL and Frances Templin of Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 pm Friday, August 16, 2013 in the Sacred Heart Mission Church, 207 Palmetto Ave., Green Cove Springs with Fr. Donal Sullivan as Celebrant. Visitation will be in the church one hour prior to the service time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research at www.stjude.org.
