Joan L. Austin

Joan L. Austin, 78, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away August 15, 2013. She was born on December 26, 1934 in Washington, D.C. Mrs. Austin was a homemaker and was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed singing, especially Christmas Carols and was an avid Washington Redskins and Boston Red Sox fan. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include her children, Brian Moran (Peggy), Mark Moran, Sean Moran (Indy), Richard Austin and Kathleen Cortez and 7 grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Monday, August 19, 2013 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Fr. Rene Robert officiating.
