Jimie Lane Felt

Jimie “Jammer” Lane Felt; 54, of Palatka, FL, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2008. He was born on September 11, 1953 in Greeley, CO to parents, James and Dorothy Felt. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran, serving two tours. Mr. Felt was a graduate of Adams City High School and worked as a construction artist. He had resided in Palatka, FL for the past two years prior to living in the Clay County area for 8 years and was a member of Vineyard Christian Church in Middleburg, FL. He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 1988 in Green Cove Springs, FL, a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #184 in Palatka, FL and the Moose Rider’s Club “MOB”, American Legion Middleburg Post #250 and a charter member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4505 in Green Cove Springs. He loved fishing, hunting and sports and was one of the best men in the world. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James Felt, brother, John H. Felt and sister, Dottie Felt and is survived by his mother, Dorothy Felt; wife, Karen T. Felt; children, David Hansen (Susan) of Gainesville, FL, Scott Hansen (Kristie) of Pensacola, FL; Kristi Foster (Stephen) of Woodstock, GA, Melissa Felt of Virginia Beach, VA and Nicholas Felt of Vancleave, MS; sister, Rosma Walker (David) of Berthoud,CO; uncle, Leonard Felt (Thelma) of Buena Vista, CO; aunts, Eva Coyles Enders of Nebraska and Nedra Murray of Volcano, HI; grandchildren, Miranda, Kate, Taylor, Riley, Noah, Colbry, Ella and Aiden; niece, Pauline Berger (Mark) of Johnstown, CO and nephew, Bret Hanson of Thornton, CO. Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 pm Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at VFW Post 1988 in Green Cove Springs, FL and at 4:00 pm Thursday, May 8, 2008 at the Ameican Legion #250 in Middleburg, FL. also at 4:00 pm on Friday, May 9, 2008 at Moose Lodge #184 in Palatka, FL.
