Arthur “Pete” Burnum Hill, Jr., 65, of Orange Park, FL, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008. He was born on May 17, 1942 in Columbus, GA to parents, Arthur and Jacqulyn Hill, Sr. Mr. Hill was a retired Master Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy and was a Vietnam War Veteran. He was a Seminole Booster and loved genealogy, the Civil War and computers. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Lynn Hill; children, Arthur “Art” B. Hill, III (Susan), Selena Hill Breedlove (Kevin), Jacqulyn A. Hill, Peter Douglas Hill (Jackie), Charmaine M. Coulter (David), Dawn M. Dolan and Christopher A. Mercer (Ligia); brothers, Michael J. Hill, Lokey W. Hill and Edwin Parker Hill; sister, Annie Hill Crosby; uncles, George and Robert Whitton of Georgia; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm Monday, May 5, 2008 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Full military honors will be conferred at the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his name may be made to Kindred Hospital North Florida, 801 Oak St., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043.
