William "Bill" Fitzgerald

William “Bill” Fitzgerald, 78, of Staten Island, NY passed away on Friday, May 2, 2008 in Green Cove Springs, FL. Mr. Fitzgerald was born on May 24, 1929 in Richmond County, NY and had been a lifelong resident of the Staten Island area. He honorably served his nation in The United States Army and was a Korean War veteran. He worked as a parts manager for The Chrysler Corporation for nineteen years and later as a driver for Pioneer Bus Company for nineteen years. Bill loved to paint and he also enjoyed wood working and gardening. Survivors include his wife of fifty eight years, Ann Fitzgerald; two sons, Patrick and William (Eva) Fitzgerald; three grandchildren, Jennifer, David, and Robert; and three great grandchildren, Melissa, Katelyn, and Christopher.
