Joseph Karl Gerhardt

Joseph Karl Gerhardt, 52, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on September 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born on June 6, 1961 in Jacksonville, FL to parents Joseph and Merle (Gravley) Gerhardt. He had lived in the area his entire life and was a welder by trade. He was an avid fisherman, loved the river and music. He was an awesome cook and a man of many talents. He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his daughter, Savannah Grace Gerhardt; the mother of his daughter, Susan B, Gerhardt; sister, Ryan Widdowson; nephew, Clay Widdowson; special friends, Phillip Moody, Tilly and Hayden Boyette; aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2013 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Louie Doan officiating. “Fly High over the River Daddy”.
