Michael Howard McKay

Michael Howard McKay, 68, of Orange Park, FL passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 10, 2013. He was born on March 17, 1945 in Anoka, MN to parents Floyd C. and Arliene Wheaton McKay. Michael has been a resident of Orange Park since 1974 and was of the Lutheran faith and a member of Cross+Road Lutheran Church. He loved meteorology, hunting, fishing and golfing. Michael was devoted to his company and client base and was active in Sonshine North Via de Cristo. Mr. McKay loved to participate with the NRA and was very politically active. He was very active in the placement and guidance of foreign exchange students. Michael was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his wife, Carol V. McKay; sons, Cory M. McKay and Jeremy J-M (Tanya) McKay; brothers, Ernie McKay and Thomas (Betty) McKay; sister, Sandi McKay; brother-in-law, John Holm and 3 grandchildren, Teagan S. McKay, Adysen J. McKay and Sheila Foureé. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Cross+Road Lutheran Church 5101 Lake Shore Drive West Fleming Island, FL with Rev.
