Ruby D. Baxley

Ruby D. Baxley, 82, of Middleburg, FL passed away on September 10, 2013. She was born in High Springs, FL on June 22, 1931 to parents Hinan and Geneva Wiggins. She attended Doctors Inlet Church of God and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and loving sister who will be deeply missed. She is survived by her sons, Fred (Debbie) Higginbotham and Terry (Dawn) Higginbotham; daughters, Jeri Dyess, Sarah (Scott) Higginbotham, Charlene Montie) Ballantyne; brother, Buddy (Iris) Padgett; sisters, Barbara (Jerry) Rushing and Juanita (Nancy) Padgett; grandchildren, Nanette, Stacey, Chase, Angie, Maddie, Sheila, Rick, Chris, Adam, Jacob, Morgan, Natalie, Cory, Roger, Christan, Jaden, April, Teri Ann, Pete and Mandy; 23 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 16, 2013 at Doctors Inlet Church of God, 144 Old Jennings Road, Orange Park, FL 32073 with Reverend Stephen Thomas and Reverend Ronnie Surrency officiating.
