John D. Dewberry

John D. Dewberry, 93, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2008 in Green Cove Springs, FL. He was born on January 12, 1915 in Plainville, GA to parents, Harvey and Julia Dewberry. He was retired from the United States Navy and was a World War II Veteran. He also worked for Civil Service as an air craft mechanic. He had lived in the Jacksonville area since 1950 and was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death in 1984 by his wife, Sadie Dewberry and is survived by 3 children, Michael Dewberry (Sherrill), David Dewberry and Teresa Thomas (Danny); 5 grandchildren, Michael, Lisa, Chad, Katherine and Ashley and great-grandchild, Gaylin.
