Horace Eugene Brooker

Horace E. Brooker, 83, of Interlachen, FL, passed away October 2, 2013. He was born to parents Bruce and Lonie (Harris) Brooker on September 27, 1930 in Green Cove Springs. Horace was of the Baptist faith and loved fishing and baseball. He was known to all as the neighborhood ambassador and will be dearly missed by all of his loving family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Lois Brooker. Horace is the last of his family’s generation. He is survived by his son, Michael Brooker, daughter, Patti Leibold (Ralph) as well as 5 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 5, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Ernest Tatum officiating. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
