Gladys "Marie" Calloway

Marie Calloway, 56, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Monday, October 07, 2013. She was born on December 15, 1956 in Jacksonville, FL to parents John Franklin and Willie Mae Stringer Waddell. Marie loved watching football and was an avid Gator Fan. She also enjoyed NASCAR racing, fishing and dancing. Marie was employed by Terry Johnson Painting for 27 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandson, Shelton Hicks. Marie will always be remembered as a loving mother, sister and friend is survived by her daughters, Suzzette Calloway and Frankie Thomas; grandchildren, Megan, Ethan and Christian; brother, Richard Waddell; sister, Holly Showers as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held in her honor at 11:00 am Friday, October 11, 2013 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor David Rosenbaum officiating.
