William John Schweitzer

William “Willy” Schweitzer, 59, of Middleburg, FL, passed away October 10, 2013. He was born on September 25, 1954 in Erie, PA to parents John and Edith Smith Schweitzer. He loved drag racing, motorcycles and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Mr. Schweitzer never met a stranger and loved his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother, Gary Schweitzer. Survivors include his sons, Chris (Megan) Schweitzer and William Schweitzer; brothers, Dennis (Maureen) Schweitzer and Danny (Rachel) Schweitzer; sisters, Nancy (Jim) Poole and Tammy (Timothy) Mullins; granddaughter, Avery Schweitzer. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Ridgewood Baptist Church 939 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32065 Arrangements are under the care of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home, 501 Spring St., Green Cove Springs, FL 32043 (904) 284-4000.
