Shawn Patrick Young

Shawn Patrick Young, 48, of Middleburg, FL passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013 after a valiant fight with cancer. He was born on February 9, 1965 in Brooklyn, NY to parents David W Young, II and Mary Rose Dinatle Young. Shawn was of the Christian faith and truly loved God with all his heart. He attended and was a member of the Rock Bible Church. He moved to the Clay County area 7 years ago coming from Fort Myers, Fl. Shawn was a plumber by trade and a very talented musician. He was very gifted with his hands and was able to make anything. Shawn was an expert bowler and had bowled several 300 games. He brought much joy and laughter to his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who loved him. Shawn was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Rose Young and is survived by his father, David W. Young, II; brother, David W. Young, III and his wife Lisette; nephews, David, Michael, Bradley, Bryce, Anthony and Yashair; he is also survived by all his beloved friends at Crackers.
