Ruth Ardell Getz

Ruth Ardell Getz, 93, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away October 12, 2013 in Orange Park, FL. She was born in Danielson, CT on October 30, 1919 to parents Chester A. and Bertha Rhorer Arnold and had lived in Green Cove Springs since 1974. She loved her family dearly, was an avid reader and loved shopping. She was a member of Harbor Baptist Church and was predeceased by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, her husband, Col. Wilbur D. Getz (US Army Ret.) a daughter, Judith A. Miller and a grandson, Michael D. Fronczek. Survivors include daughters, Patricia (Charles) Fronczek and Sherianne (David) Everington; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on October 30, 2013 at Harbor Baptist Church with Pastor Sam Jewell officiating.
