John "Bubba Dirt" Hough Jr.

John “Bubba Dirt” Hough Jr., 67, of Middleburg, FL passed away on Monday, October 21, 2013. He was born on October 18, 1946 in Jacksonville, FL to parents John A. Hough Sr. and Marie Hartley Hough. John was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was very gifted with his hands and was able to repair anything and was very knowledgeable of all the jobs he had accomplished in life, never forgetting even the minutest detail. He brought much joy and laughter to his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who loved him. John was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Laura Marie Hough. He is survived by his wife Kathy Hough; sons, John John Hough III, Jeffery Hough, and step-son Chuck Grover; daughter, Katrina Grover; brothers, Eddie (Sherry) Hough, Randy (Susan) Hough, and Billy (Heather) Hough; sisters, Diane Perrin (Norman), Lynn Roberts (Paul), Anita Norton (Gordon), Helen Morey (Jim) and Melanie Hough (Russ); grandchildren, Kirsten Grover, Phoebe Johns and Haven Tyler Johns. A Memorial service will be held in the Broadus-Raines Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 3, 2013 with Dr. Tim McDaniel officiating.
