Gloria Lynn Bland Moreland

Gloria Lynn Bland Moreland, 42, of Keystone Heights, FL passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. She was born on May 10, 1971 in Green Cove Springs, FL to parents Charles Kenneth and Lola (Jolley) Bland. Lynn was a lifelong resident of Clay County, FL, was of the Baptist faith and attended Fresh Start Fellowship Church in Keystone Heights. She loved going to church and singing in the choir. Lynn will always be remembered as a good hearted, loving person who was always thinking of others. She was always giving to her family and friends in all kinds of ways but especially her love. Lynn was a loving caring wife, mother, daughter and sister who had a heart of gold. She was preceded in death by her sister, Laura Lacy and will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends. She is survived by her parents; Charles and Lola Bland; husband, Michael V. Moreland; daughter, Savannah Bland Moreland; son, Michael V. Moreland, Jr.; sisters, Eva Fowler (Aubrey), Diane Bland and Patricia Bland; father-in-law, David Moreland and several extended family members. A funeral service will be held in her honor at 11:00 am on Friday, November 1, 2013 at Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Connor and Reverend Ron Baker officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 am until service time. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral expenses.
