Douglas James Hilton

Douglas James Hilton, 55, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2013. He was born on September 29, 1958 in Grundy, VA to parents Berlin and Martha (Baker) Hilton. Doug enjoyed working in his garden, farming his own land and camping at Vilano Beach. Mr. Hilton was lifetime resident of Green Cove Springs bringing much joy and laughter to his family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who loved him. For the last ten years of Doug’s life, he was devoted to the care and wellbeing of his parents and for this the family will forever be grateful. He was preceded in death by his father, Berlin Hilton; brother, Michael Hilton and is survived by his mother, Martha Hilton; sons, Douglas “D.J” Hilton Jr. and Ocial Green; daughter, Heather Hovsepian (Ryan); sisters, Lynn Harvey (Gregg), Deloris “Dutch” Smith (Steve) and Rita Newman (John); grandchildren, Blaine Hilton, Landon Hovsepian and Lake Hovsepian. A Memorial service will be held in the Broadus-Raines Chapel at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2013 with Pastor Paul Salazar officiating.
