Edwin L. Kimbell

Edwin L. Kimbell, 91, of Orange Park, FL, passed away November 10, 2013. He was born on August 20, 1922 in Birmingham, AL to parents, Claude and Marie Rogers Kimbell. Mr. Kimbell was a World War II Veteran, having served his country United States Army Air Corps. He had worked as a supervisor for the United States Post Office and had been a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church in Birmingham, AL. Mr. Kimbell was a 33rd degree Mason and enjoyed decorating cakes and flowers; stamp and coin collecting and was a professional volunteer. He will be dearly missed by his loving family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Betty Kimbell; daughter, Cindy Cummins (Paul); grandchildren, Charles Bush and John Bush (Nicole) and great-grandchildren, Rylee and Addison. Funeral services will be held at 5:30 pm Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Luanne Kemper officiating. Visitation will continue after the service until 6:30 pm.
