Franklin Delane Eason, 80, of Fleming Island, FL, went home to be with the Lord on November 9, 2013. He was born in Smithfield, N C. to O. J. and Edna Eason. He moved to Jacksonville, FL in 1960 with the Atlantic Coastline Railroad, that later became CSX. He retired in 1989 as Assistant Vice President, CSX. He was a veteran and served in the US Army. Frank was a member of Hibernia Baptist Church, Fleming Island, FL. He was predeceased by his parents, a son, Timothy James Eason, daughter Melody Eason Huntley, son-in law Richard Constantini, sister-in-law Bobbie Hilbert and nephew Lance Hilbert. Frank was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. One of his favorite things to do besides fishing, water sports, golf, and gardening was his cookouts with his family. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Fisher Eason, daughters Lynn Carroll (Charlie), Fairhope, AL, Nancy Wimbish (Jim) Raleigh, N. C. seven grandchildren: Angela, Trish (Mark), Tara (Jason), Anne Michael (Rick), Eason (Robyn), James and Mary, four great-grandchildren, Trey, Cody, Gray and Chloe, three brothers Rod (Carol), Bobby (Anne), Tim (Delores) Eason and brother-in-law Jim Fisher (Beverly). A Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 11:00 am in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. The family will receive friends at 10:00 am.
