Deva Jo Hogan, 75, of Jacksonville, FL passed away Monday, June 2, 2008. Mrs. Hogan was born to parents Ray and Ruth Brainerd on May 15, 1933 in Gassville, AR. She was of the Methodist faith and served as a Sunday school teacher in Springfield, MO. She moved to Jacksonville in 1980 from Brandon, FL where she was a kindergarten teacher. She enjoyed collecting fine art, and also worked as a manager and dealer in fine art. Mrs. Hogan was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend and will be dearly missed. Survivors include her loving husband of fifty six years, Ralph Hogan; two children: Joseph Ralph Hogan, III (Dawn) and Mary Ruth Halvorsen (Mark); one sister, Clara Berg (Marshall); and six grandchildren: Michael, Melissa, Andrew, Christopher, Mark, and Brendon. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 10:00 am in the Broadus-Raines Chapel officiated by Dr. Tim McDaniel. Interment will take place in Gassville Cemetery, Gassville, AR.
