Patricia Ann Adams, 69, went to be with our lord on November 18, 2013. She was born on July 19, 1944 to parents Jake and Alice Carter. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Alice, her brother, Jacob Carter Jr., daughter Jodi Hakes and grandson Daniel Smith. Patsy, as she was known to all, was a homemaker and a member of Harbor Baptist Church. She enjoyed many years of volunteering in the community. She loved singing and her life at the Senior Citizens center. She spent quite a few years raising her grandchildren, Brandon and Brianna and loved every minute. She loved her children and grandchildren dearly. She is survived by her daughter, Kim Smith; son, Tim Smith (Angie); sister, Jean Kibbons-Dunnmon and Bobbie Louder; brother Joseph Carter; her grandchildren Kayla, Ashley, Konstance, Timothy, Jacob, Brianna and Brandon; two great-grandchildren Paige and Teegan with many other nieces and nephews and loving family and friends. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Broadus-Raines Funeral Home to defer costs. The visitation will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Harbor Baptist Church in Fleming Island, FL with Pastor Sam Jewell officiating.
