Robbie grew up in Winter Haven and graduated from Winter Haven High School. She worked as a workers compensation insurance adjuster and then pursued her undergraduate degrees from Valencia Community College and the University of Central Florida. She completed her law degree at Barry University Law School despite a diagnosis of, and various treatments for, Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Robbie met her loving husband, John, while she was working to put herself through school. They married November 11, 2000. She became stepmother to Matt and John and then added Lily and Mitchell to their loving family. She enjoyed cooking, entertaining, photography, learning, and an active life. Robbie’s battle with cancer was fought with determination and dignity, and she will be deeply missed by all of her many friends and family who loved her. Memorial service will be held at Wekiva Presbyterian Church, Sunday, June 8th, at 4PM.  To view the VIDEO TRIBUTE, click the following link: http://brfhtributes.com/RSMcLain_May2008.htm
