Karen Marie Stovall, 61, of Middleburg, FL passed away November 29, 2013 following an extended illness. She was born on March 9, 1952 in Kew Gardens, NY to parents Nicholas and Joyce (Lenahan) Arth. She had moved to Middleburg in 2007 from Lake Worth, FL and was a communicant of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Middleburg. She loved to crochet; arts and crafts and was an avid reader. She loved to cook and enjoyed being a substitute teacher at Clay High School. She adored her grandson and was excited about the grandchild that is expected. Mrs. Stovall was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Scot Stovall in 2004. She is survived by a loving family including her daughter, Heather (Scott) Obermiller; son, James Stovall; sisters, Lynne (Al) Breud and Janet Staefe; grandson, Luke Obermiller; special nephew, Kevin (Bertie) Staefe; nieces, Diane (Danny) Towle, JoAnne (Carl) Musselman, Christine Alzate and Michelle Breud; nephew, Albie (Susan) Breud. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 1606 Blanding Blvd. Middleburg, FL 32068. The Reverend Andy Blaszkowski will be the celebrant. Mrs. Stovall will be buried at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 5, 2013 in Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach, FL.
