Edward L. Freeman, Sr., 68, of Orange Park, FL passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008. Mr. Freeman was born to parents Joseph and Rebecca Freeman in Brooklyn, NY on August 19, 1939 and was of the Baptist faith. He graduated from Fort Hamilton High School Class of 1957 in Brooklyn, NY and later drove a bus for Queens Transit in NY City for twenty six years. He moved to South Florida in 1988 and then drove for Palm Beach Transit for ten years. He later retired to enjoy quality time with his grandchildren and family. Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Richard and Jimmy Freeman. He is survived by three children: Holly Freeman, Edward Freeman, Jr., and Tracey (Rob) Cheyne; one brother, Charles (Margie) Freeman; two sisters: Beverly Goess and Joanne Pace; and eight grandchildren: Taylor, Tonya, Kayla, Nicole, Tiffany, Danielle, Jackson, and Emily.
