Helen Elizabeth Moorman

Helen E. Moorman, 71, of Middleburg, FL passed away peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2013. She was born on September 23, 1942 to parents, John J. and Nellie Virginia Barnes Pitner. She had been a resident of Florida for the past 23 years and lived in Middleburg, FL for the past 12 years. Mrs. Moorman loved to sew, crochet and drink her coffee. Helen enjoyed watching her favorite football team the Washington Redskins play. She was preceded in death by her parents and her 3 brothers. Survivors include her husband of 47 years Leroy Edward Moorman, Sr.; children, Richard Poehler, Leroy E. Moorman, Jr. and his wife Kimberly, Tina M. Butler and her husband Richard, Timothy Moorman, Sr., Stacey Justice and her fiancé Richard P. Lee, Jr. and Tracey Moorman; sisters, Georgia Baugham and Margie Fry; 14 grandchildren, Jesse and Josh Money, Brice Dennis, Dwayne Auer, Randy and Jenny Bartley, Crystal Auer, Amber Moorman, Riley Butler, Amanda Moorman and Timothy Moorman, Jr., Andrew “Austin” Justice, Leslee and Brooke Moorman; 5 great-grandchildren, Jonah Money, Haylee Bartley, Haydn and Shyla Tillett and Benjamin McClain as well as many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends. A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 12, 2013 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Dr. Ken Pledger officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Hill Cemetery in Middleburg, FL.
