Donald McAlpine

Donald McAlpine passed away December 6, 2013 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 86. He was born to Hugh and Kathleen McAlpine on October 9, 1927 in Buffalo, New York. Donald had a twin brother Douglas and a sister Margie. Donald married Joyce Henderson on September 3, 1955. She preceded him in death on August 3, 2009. He worked as a Ray Dome Tech for the Boeing Corp. retiring in 1993. Donald became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on February 6, 1959 when he joined the Mosses Lake, Washington Lodge #1724. He came to Moosehaven on August 22, 2011 where he resided for 2 years. Celebration Memorial Service will be held in Seattle, Washington at a later date with burial in the National Cemetery in Tacoma, Washington. He is survived by daughter, Deborah Matthews of Jacksonville, Florida and son Scott McAlpine of Glendale, California. Donald is also survived by brother, Douglas McAlpine of Renton, Washington and sister, Margie Gardner of Victoria, Canada.
