Louis Gipson

Louis Gipson, 87, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away peacefully on December 20, 2013 in Jacksonville, FL., 21 days after losing his wife of 66 years. Louis was born in New Orleans, LA., on October 2, 1926 to Walter Edwin and Mary Elizabeth Hardy Gipson. Louis had one brother that passed away 40 years ago. He met the love of his life on a blind date in New Orleans and was married shortly after, on June 27, 1948. Louis and Eloise had 5 children Mary, Patrick, Kelly and Mark. Louis’s passing was no surprise to his children for they all knew they would be together. After retirement Louis and Eloise traveled the United States in a fifth wheel R V for 18 years before settling in Green Cove Springs. Inurnment of his ashes will be on January 4, 2013 in Moselle, Mississippi next to his wife, Eloise W. Gipson at Crosby Cemetery. Please sign the family's online guestbook at www.broadusraines.com.
