Barbara Ann Shea

Barbara Shea passed away January 28, 2014 in the Moosehaven Life Care Center at the age of 79. She was born to Elija and Mrytle Redfearn on November 19, 1934 in Marshville, North Carolina. Barbara married Jack Shea on April 8, 1954 in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. They had three children, Jack Jr., Linda and Cindy. Jack Jr. and Linda preceded her in death. Barbara was a homemaker until the kids were in high school. She loved to sew. Barbara worked at Maxwell House for twenty-six years. She had a dog for years named Jennifer that she absolutely adored. She became affiliated with the Loyal Order of Moose on January 23, 1988 when her husband, Jack joined Jacksonville, Florida Lodge #455. Barbara came to Moosehaven with her husband Jack on August 19, 2010 where she has resided for a little over 3 years. Graveside Services held at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Portsmouth, Virginia at a later date. Barbara is survived by husband, Jack Shea, resident of Moosehaven and daughter, Cindy Shea of Orange Park, Florida, three grandchildren, one great grandchild and two sisters Marsha Atwood and Deborah Bennett of Virginia.
