Robert "Bob" L. Packwood

Packwood, Robert L. (Bob) passed away February 4, 2014, at Custead Hospice Care Center, Orange Park, Florida. Mr. Packwood was born in Detroit, Michigan, on August 1, 1936 to Virgil Miller and Nina Ethel Packwood. He was a graduate of Western High School, attended Lawrence Technical School and retired from Cadillac Motors-GMC and Snap On Tools. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Virgil Marvin. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 56 years, Ivalene, two daughters, Lori Hartmann and Lynn (Chris) Green; and, four grandchildren, Jeff Hartmann, Drew Hartmann, Travis Green and Megan Green. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 on Saturday, February 8, 2014 in the Broadus Raines Chapel, 501 Spring St., Green Cove Springs, Florida, followed by a memorial service in the Chapel at Broadus Raines Funeral Home. A private interment at the Jacksonville National Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in his memory be made to the Haven Hospice Custead Care Center, 745 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, FL 32065.
