William Edward Marbry

William Edward “Ed” Marbry, 71, of Melbourne, FL passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Kindred Hospital in Green Cove Springs, FL. Ed was born to parents Robert Henry and Grace E. Marbry on August 16, 1936 in Robinson, IL and moved to Melbourne forty years ago. Ed honorably served his nation in The United States Army. Later, he earned his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering at Florida Institute of Technology and worked for the Harris Corporation. He was also an avid golfer and a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in Robinson, IL. Survivors include: his life partner, Carol Fox; one son, Douglas (Cheryl) Marbry; one daughter, Dyan (Orville) Smith; one sister, Janet (John) Monke; five grandchildren: Alysia, Tyler, Tara, Sydney, and Garret; and two beloved pets: Bianca and Thumper. Services will be Friday, July 11, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Beckman-Williams Funeral Home, 5400 Village Dr, Viera, FL. The family will receive those who wish to pay their respects one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to South Brevard Sharing Center, 17 E.
