Barry Lee Allen

Barry Lee Allen, 63, of Middleburg, FL, passed away March 8, 2014 following an extended illness. He was born August 2, 1950 in Detroit, MI to parents, Clell and Lorraine Spencer Allen. Mr. Allen was a North Florida resident for 13 years coming from South Florida. Barry was a member of VFW Post 8255, American Legion Post 250 and Legionnaire in The Loyal Order of the Moose Chapter 2410 all of Middleburg, FL. Barry was a devoted husband and loving father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his wife, Gloria Jean Allen; son, Brandon Allen (Keli) and step-son Jason; daughter, Anna Armstrong (Chester); brother, Patrick Allen and granddaughters, Eliana Lee, Danielle and Alexia. A Memorial Service with military honors will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, March 17, 2014 at Jacksonville National Cemetery 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218.
