Norma J. Carey

Norma J. Carey, 58, of Baldwin, FL passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2008. Mrs. Carey was born to Gene and Allean Cooner on December 6, 1949 in Jacksonville, FL and was of the Baptist faith. She married Robert L. Carey, Jr. on June 21, 1969 and together they had three children. Mrs. Carey loved her family and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Carey, Jr.; her three children: Leslie (Ray) Scully, Robert L. (Jessica) Carey, III, and Sheila (Ron) Craig; three brothers: Henry (Marjorie), Gene (Holly), and Stanley Cooner; two sisters: Joyce Watkins and Barbara Ford; and seven beloved grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the Broadus-Raines Chapel on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at 2:00 pm officiated by Dr. Tim McDaniel. Interment will follow in Penney Farms Cemetery.
