Ronald E. McPeak

Ronald E. McPeak, 77, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away March 26, 2014. A life-long resident of the area, Mr. McPeak was born on February 17, 1937 in Starke, FL to parents William Columbus McPeak and Cora Bell Strickland McPeak. He was an Army Veteran and a Marine Electrician. He had fulfilled his dream by moving onto his boat at the Green Cove Springs Marina. He was predeceased by his parents and 2 brothers, Gerald McPeak and Steve McPeak. Survivors include brothers, James McPeak, David McPeak (Barbara) and Douglas McPeak (Faye); sister, Gail Schweitzer (Butch); numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Barney. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Charlie Hunt officiating.
