Susan Ann Hobbs

Susan Ann Hobbs, 45, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2008. Ms. Hobbs was born to Virgil and Virginia Hobbs on August 21, 1962 in Orlando, FL and was a member of First Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs. She worked as a landscaper for golf courses and enjoyed gardening, fishing, and the beach. Survivors include two children: Alan and Jessica Cobb; her mother, Virginia Hobbs; brother, David (Tonya) Hobbs; sisters: Terrie (Gordon) Price and Linda (Robert) Chastain; and nephews and nieces: Isaac, Opal, Matthew, Danielle, and Ginny. Visitation will be held in the chapel of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the Broadus-Raines Chapel on Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 11:00 am officiated by Brother Spurgeon Hayes. Interment will follow in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
