Willis Bernard Thompson Jr., 74, of Jacksonville, FL passed away April 4, 2014. Mr. Thompson was born on June 4, 1939 in Bonifay, FL to parents, Willis B. Thompson Sr. and Bernice Gay Johnson Thompson. He had resided in Jacksonville, FL for the past 67 years coming from Kingsville, TX and was a member of West Side Baptist Church. Mr. Thompson was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his wife, Beverly Ann Thompson; children William W. Kelley and Regina A. Johnson; brother, Donald C. Thompson; grandchildren, Garrett Johnson and Amy Downing and great-grandchildren, Jasmine Downing, Randy Eastwood III and Alyssa Eastwood. A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Jacksonville National Cemetery 4083 Lannie Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32218,with full military honors.
