Phyllis G. McLaughlin

Phyllis G. McLaughlin, 42, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008. She was born on September 25, 1965 in Jacksonville, FL to parents, Lonnie and Gertie Padgett. She was of the Baptist faith and was a very active person. Phyllis liked tennis, running, doing puzzles and was an excellent interior decorator. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Lonnie Padgett and her sister, Debbie Norman and is survived by her mother, Gertie Padgett; daughter, Megan McLaughlin; brothers, Rodney and Richie Padgett and a granddaughter, Arianna Heffner. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Clay Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Billy R. Canterbury officiating. Interment will follow in Long Branch Cemetery.
