Albert E. West

Albert E. West, 83, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away May 3, 2014. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on July 18, 1930 to parents Edward Dewey West and Jewel Annie Anderson. He had lived in the Jacksonville area all of his life and had retired from the U.S. Navy as Chief Petty Officer after 20 years of dedicated service. He was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Barbara Ann West in 2007. He is survived by his daughters, Joyce Christofalos (Chris), Susan Mitchell and Jennifer Chisolm; five brothers; two sisters; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Reverend Ronnie Surrency. Please sign the family’s online guestbook at www.broadusraines.com.
