Michael A. "Mike" Forbes

Michael Allen “Mike” Forbes, 57, of St. Johns, FL, passed away unexpectedly in an automobile accident on May 6, 2014. He was born on October 4, 1956 in Jacksonville, FL to parents Lucian Roland and Irma Lou Rutherford Forbes. Mike graduated from Englewood High School, had worked for JM Family Enterprises for over 20 years and most recently owned Fresh Start Veggies in Switzerland. He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife of 29 years Nancy Lockwood Forbes; sisters, Debbie Forbes Bentley and Mary Forbes; brothers, John Forbes, Doug Forbes and Bobby Forbes; mother and father-in-law, Grace and Jack Lockwood; sister-in-law, Julie Lockwood Alexander (Tyrone); brother-in-law Randy Lockwood; several nieces, nephews and cousins and a multitude of friends. A celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Switzerland Community Church, 2179 State Road 13, Switzerland, FL 32259.
