Barbara Olga Fitz

Barbara Olga Fitz,LCDR, Ret., 87, of Orange Park, FL passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014. She was born on May 11, 1927 to parents Arthur and Jenny (Jensen) Fitz in South River, NJ. Barbara lived in Florida she moved to Green Cove in 1972. She served her country honorably in the United States Navy retiring after 20 years of service. Barbara was a member of the Lake Asbury Women’s Club and was of the Methodist faith. She loved swimming, horseback riding and arts & crafts. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her sisters, Frances Campbell of Bonham, TX and Vivian Gordie of Green Cove Springs, FL as well as several nieces and nephews.
