Betty L. McBrayer

Betty L. McBrayer, 62, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2008. She was born on January 15, 1946 in Baltimore, MD to parents, Charlie and Louella Havis. She was known as everybody’s Mom and loved her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Havis and her husband, John Wayne McBrayer. She is survived by her mother, Louella Whitfield; children, William F. Crumbley, Cathy L. Gallagher, Mary L. Brock (Kenny) and Debra A. Crumbley (Randall McBrayer); siblings, Ralph, Dawson, Jimmy and Lester Havis, Linda Repult (Robert); half-sisters, Carol King and Wanda Bacon; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, one niece and 6 nephews. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Thursday, August 7, 2008 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Pastor Ernestine Lockett officiating.
