Freddy "Fred" Alan Brown

Freddy “Fred” Alan Brown, 53, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, May 29, 2014. He was born to parents Everett and Lena Brown in Hollywood, FL on August 8, 1960. He was a family man who loved fishing, swimming, martial arts and the outdoors. Fred made his living as a very skilled painter. He married his wife and best friend Kathy in 1979 and soon after became the proud father of 3 children. He is preceded in death by his father, Everett Brown and is survived by his mother, Lena Brown; wife, Kathy Brown; son, Michael Brown; daughters, Sara and Kimberly Brown; sister, Mary Hanks; brothers, John, David and Jerry Brown; grandchildren, Blake, Halley, Emory and Destyn as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service will be held in his honor at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 2, 2014 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel. All family and friends are welcome to attend.
