Mabel Alene Hamilton

Mabel Alene Hamilton, 86, of Green Cove Springs, FL passed away June 1, 2014. She was born in Poor Bottom, KY on July 8, 1927 to Roy and Blanche (Stanley) Ratliff. She had moved to Green Cove Springs, FL over 30 years ago from Ohio and was a member of Little Ruth Old Regular Baptist Church. She was predeceased by her parents, brothers and sisters and her husband, Albert Hamilton in January of 2012. Survivors include daughters, Phylous Jerousek, Shelby Richards, Alice (Eddie) Wallen and Molly (David) Rice; sons, James (Julia), Charles (Denise), Harold and Frank Hamilton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of church family and friends. The family will receive friends at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home on Wednesday June 4, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at Little Ruth Old Regular Baptist Church in Green Cove Springs on Thursday, June 5, 2014 from noon until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2014 at Little Ruth Old Regular Baptist Church with Elder Doug McCarty, Elder Terry Fuller and Elder Eddie Wallen officiating.
