Patty Johnson

Patty Johnson, 65, departed this life on Saturday, August 16, 2008. She was born to Theron and Gertrude Vance on March 25, 1943 in Boone County, WV and moved to Green Cove Springs a year and a half ago. Ms. Johnson attended Green Cove Springs Church of God and loved going to church and spending time with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and by two sons: Roy and Wayne Moore and her sister, Brenda. Survivors include: two daughters: Bonnie (Larry) Hall and Christine Minor; four brothers: Jerry, Joe, James, and Buddy; three sisters: Lois, Sissy, and Jackie; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends in the chapel of Broadus-Raines Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at Green Cove Springs Church of God on Thursday, August 21, 2008 at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Larry Hall. Lunch for family and friends will be served at the church from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm. Graveside services will begin at 2:00 pm.
