Mrs. Betty Haugh

Mrs. Betty Haugh, 79, of Green Cove Springs, FL, passed away Monday, August 18, 2008. She was born on November 2, 1928 in Winter Beach, FL to parents, Little and Anna Mae Priest. Mrs. Haugh had been a nurse and loved quilting, doll making and watching T.V. She attended Russell Baptist Church and participated in their Saints Alive program. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, LeRoy Haugh, Jr. Survivors include her loving husband of 51 years, Leroy Haugh; children, Anna Winder (Rev. Jim Winder) and Sheila Basham (Larry); brother, Sampson Baker; grandchildren, Billy Winder, Elizabeth Clarke, Michael Winder, Sarah Bush and Joshua Strickland and great-granddaughter, Lily Ann Bush. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday, August 25, 2008 at Broadus-Raines Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, August 26, 2008 in the Broadus-Raines Chapel with Rev. Ron Baker officiating. The family will also receive friends Tuesday from 9:00 am until service time in the chapel. Interment will follow in Penney Farms Cemetery.
