Susan Mary Roop

Susan Mary Roop, 60, of Orange Park, FL passed away July 9, 2014. She was born in Elizabeth, NJ on June 21, 1954 to parents John and Veronica (Dougherty) Norfolk. She was Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fleming Island, FL. Susan was an animal lover who loved the outdoors and vacationing in the Mountains. She enjoyed researching her family’s genealogy. Susan was a wonderful single mother of 3 for many years. She was a devoted “Grammy” to her grandchildren and gave great “High-Fives”. She was predeceased by her mother and is survived by her father, John Norfolk; her loving partner of 14 years, David Barnard; sons, Michael Roop and Nicholas Roop; daughter, Stephanie Yaffe; brothers, Michael Norfolk, Robert Norfolk and John Norfolk; sisters, Eileen Gardner and Judith Ann McNulty; and 5 adoring grandchildren.
