Walt Burley, 67, of Daytona, FL passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Mr. Burley was born on April 24, 1941 to Lawrence and Loretta Burley in Mansfield, PA. He honorably served in The United States Army Reserves and later worked as a truck driver. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #4089 and held many offices with the Eagles, including three time Aerie President, District President, and was entered into the Eagles Hall of Fame in 2004. He was also a member of Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Post #3282, AMVETS Post #0911, and American Legion Post #0270 and was known for being a great cook. Survivors include: son, Rodney (Tina) Burley; daughter, Donna (Chris) Reardon; sister, Arlene (Phil) Kio; brother, Thomas Burley; and two grandchildren: Mackenzie and Lindsey. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2008 from 1:00 until 3:00 pm at Port Orange Eagles Aerie #4089, 5130 S.
