Bishop William Bush McCue, 82, of Middleburg, FL, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2014. He was born on April 4, 1932 in New Brockton, AL to parents, Charlie and Nevada (Conaway) McCue. He served his country honorably in the United States Army during the Korean War. Bishop McCue was a Reverend with the Church of God Ministry for over 50 years, ministering to 7 different churches. He was a member of Doctor’s Inlet Church of God and a true steward of Gods money. Bishop McCue was known as a Pastor, husband, father and friend and was dedicated to all titles. His motto in life was “To always be ready for the rapture, pray and read your bible” and if anyone asks I want to be remembered as a good Christian man. Mr. McCue loved fishing, reading Christian books, going to church and talking about politics. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Joy Kelly and his wife, Dorothy J. McCue and is survived by his second wife, Helen McCue; children, Mike Edward McCue (Donna), John William McCue (Connie), Jeanie Darlene Bell (Wayne) and Susan Aletha Thomas (Stephen); step-children; Richard Brown, Victoria Chapman (Paul), Michael W. Brown and Teresa L. Hand; sister, Imajean McCue; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm Friday, August 15, 2014 at Doctor’s Inlet Church of God. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Doctor’s Inlet Church of God with Reverend Chris Oliver, Reverend Byron Griffis, Reverend Marshall Adcock, Reverend Stephen Bell and Reverend Larry Powell officiating.
