Linda Jean McAloon

Linda Jean McAloon, 60, of Jacksonville, FL passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 10, 2014. She was born on October 22, 1953 in Jacksonville, FL to parents, John Curtis and Daisy Jean (Wilson) Turknett. She was a lifelong resident of Florida and was very proud of being a fully certified Gemologist. Linda loved going to the beach and lake where she enjoyed camping. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors with her family and friends. Linda will be deeply missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Richard Turknett. Survivors include her husband of 18 years Rodger Keith McAloon; children, Lisa Mecehell Downing and her husband Justin, Thomas Dwayne Bishop and Linda Danielle Sellers; brother, Johnny Turknett; 4 grandchildren, Haleigh Jordan Gunn, Lydia Jean Gunn, Desiree Jade Sellers and Zakkary Storm Sellers; and her beloved pets Daisy Jean and Dakota Keith. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
