Betty Hill

Betty Hill, 82, of Fleming Island, FL, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 17, 2014. She was born on April 20, 1932 in Mount Vernon, GA to parents Herbert Edward Burch and Cleo Mattie (Minton) Burch. Mrs. Hill was a member of the Eastern Star, Homemakers Extension and the VIA. She enjoyed bowling and was the morning cashier at Winn-Dixie in Green Cove Springs for 9 years. She was predeceased by her parents and her husband, Donald Hill in 1994. Betty is survived by her son, John Hill; daughter, DeAnne Dean (Jeff); 4 grandchildren, Joel Jones, Shanna Wadriski, Zackary Lee and Rebecca Lee; 1 great-granddaughter, Makayla Lee. Visitation will be in the Broadus-Raines Chapel on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
